Police Unity Tour - remembering and celebrating the lives of our fallen.  May 2015.

Four Hopkins County law enforcement officers, who were killed in the line of duty many years ago, are going to be honored in May when their names are placed on the police memorial wall in Washington.  These officers served our community around the turn of the 20th century.

Deputy Ryan Bailey and Sheriff Matt Sanderson were honored to attend and be a part of the celebration during National Police Week (May 10th-16th) to honor those who sacrificed their lives protecting the citizens of Hopkins County Kentucky.

It truly is not how these heroes were taken from us but how they lived their lives every day and the sacrifices they made to keep the citizens of Hopkins County safe that make them heroes.
